La V.F:

Une création en français est produite par Stage Entertainment France au théâtre Mogador, mais suite à un incendie juste avant la première, l'oeuvre ne sera jamais montée.

La première version française officielle fut présentée par l'Orchestre de la Francophonie au Monument National à Montréal (Canada) avec l'adaptation créée pour Mogador mais en version concert, le vendredi 13 juillet 2018.

L'histoire

Dans les sous-sols de l'Opéra de Paris, se cache le Fantôme, hanté par son apparence et cachant son terrible visage par un masque. Bien que craint par tous les résidents de l'opéra, l'amour qu'il porte pour sa belle protégée Christine Daaé va le faire sortir de sa cachette...

Notes: Andrew Lloyd Webber a écrit une suite: Love Never Dies dont le première représentation a eu lieu le 9 mars 2010 à l'Adelphi theatre.
