L'histoire

Dans le quartier de Montmartre à Paris, en France, au début du 20ème siècle, un monde de beauté et d'extravagance sans pareil, de bohèmes et d'aristocrates, de boulevards et de mademoiselles, le Moulin Rouge ! La comédie musicale raconte l'histoire fictive de Christian, écrivain, ambitieux et amoureux de Satine, une chanteuse éblouissante et envoûtante. S'ajoutent de nombreux personnages, dont l'animateur, Harold Zidler, le brillant et affamé artiste Toulouse-Lautrec, le plus grand danseur de tango - et gigolo - de tout Paris, Santiago, Nini, et le Duc de Monroth, le riche et légitime patron du club qui pense pouvoir acheter tout ce qu'il veut, y compris l'amour.
