L'histoire
Fred et Lilly sont deux acteurs divorcés réunis par une troupe de théâtre qui monte une version musicale de The Taming of the Shrew (La Mégère Apprivoisée). C'est alors que le "couple" semble beaucoup agir comme les personnages qu’ils jouent.
Une bagarre lors de la soirée d'ouverture menace la production, et deux voyous qui pensent à tort que Fred doit de l'argent à leur patron, insistent pour rester à ses côtés toute la nuit.
